I believe Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is the quest archetype. He and his friends are trying to stop the process of Voldemort’s return by finding the Sorcerer’s Stone. This also makes it an Overcoming the Monster archetype.

The climax of this book is when Harry finds out the one looking for the Sorcerer’s Stone was Professor Quirrel, not Professor Snape. Quirrel was the one who jinxed Harry’s broom, set the troll off in the bathroom, and many other horrible things. Harry kept the Stone out of Quirrel’s hands long enough for Dumbledore to return.

The book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, is an example of low fantasy. In low fantasy, the setting is in the realistic world. Then the author introduces some magical elements.Harry used live with his abusive uncle and aunt in England. However, when Hagrid comes from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry he tells Harry he is a wizard and invites him to the school. These are some magical elements in the book.
