This is bad. A Duke who pretty nearly rapes a woman. A timeline that’s all over the place. Writing that is ponderous and full of info-dumps. Bad formatting, no doubt to pad out the page count. A plot that is just plain stupid. What a mess! The structure is dreadful! What happened to the author? This is just so poor.
