Listened to about three hours of the audiobook for Home Before Dark by Riley Sager. Unfortunately it didn't keep my interest.

Reading Full Throttle by Joe Hill.
Throttle - 4 stars
Dark Carousel - 5 stars

The Sixteenth Step by Robert Shearman 4 stars
A Night's Work by Clive Barker 3 stars

Reading Best New Horror, 25th Anniversary Edition, edited by Stephen Jones

Isaac's Room by Daniel Mills 3 stars
Holes for Faces by Ramsey Campbell 2 stars
By Night he Could Not See by Joel Lane 3 stars

Listened to Crouch End by Stephen King. Hadn't read this one in a while and it was nice to revisit.

The Sisters by Soren Narnia 4 stars
Undead by Soren Narnia 4 stars
Both of these can be found on the excellent Knifepoint Horror podcast.

The Ana Log by Michael Gray Baughan 4 stars (A lost/cursed film story! I love this trope.)
The Godsmaid Clara and her Many Smiles by Sharon Dodge 3 stars
Tenderizer by Stephen Graham Jones 2 stars (I wanted to LOVE this one because I greatly enjoyed The Last Final Girl a few years ago. Maybe I just didn't get this one and need to revisit.)
Vertep by D. P. Watt (didn't write down a rating at the time)

Using this space to also record some of the short fiction I've read online, or listened to via podcasts. Ratings are purely based on my own taste and how much I enjoyed the story.

Lambing Season by Nicole J. LeBoeuf 4 stars
Knife Fight by David Nickle 2 stars
The Viaduct by Ramsey Campbell 3.5 stars
Spindleshanks by Caitlin R. Kiernan 2.5 stars
Of Marrow and Abomination by Morgan Sylvia 3.5 stars

Kin by Kealan Patrick Burke - initially marked 1 star since I felt there were too many storylines and characters for a short novel. Now I'm bumping up a few stars for the horror of Momma-in-Bed, and for the skill that it took to make Luke a (somewhat) sympathetic character along the way.

Skimmed The Manitou. This did not age well.
