This book was so fun. I think it would appeal to middle grade boys in a big way. Fantasy for that group can be a hard sell but this felt true to what boys of that age would feel. And, I love when an author turns the traditional tropes on their head. This was a whole new way to look at dwarves and it was fun. Bonus, it was based in Chicago with lots of Chicago insider jokes.
