The climax of this book is when Ron is dragged into an old house by a black dog who turns out to be serious Black. He then explains to Harry, Ron, and Hermione that he did not participate in the killing of Harry’s parents and was framed by Peter Pedigru who is disguised as Rons Rat. Lupin is there to back up his story but Lupin turns into a werewolf due to the full moon and Serious turns into a dog and fights him off
