In this part of the book the showed many pictures. Artists would often use patterns to appeal to the eyes especially for fashion shows.

Finding your muse can be something so simple as looking out a window or something more complex as thinking back to good times you've had. Many artist use this technique. Many artists find their muses with their lovers. A muse is your inspiration.

I think that it is very inspiring to read about all of these designers and how they got to where they are now. Many of them started from nothing and are now some of the most famous people in the world. Such a Ralph Lauren. He is one of the most know designers in the world but it wasn't always like that. With hard work and determination he is where he is today. This shows that you can do anything if you try.

In this book it talks all about the lives of very famous fashion designers. They get advice from them and what makes them better and what helped them "find their muse," (39). A muse is what motivates someone to work. I think the author included this to help Amy aspiring designers. I think this whole book is to inspire everyone.

I'm just starting to read this book. Even though, it is a very challenging book, I enjoy it very much. In this book the author uses very strong adjectives to describe what the artists design, and what the models wear. This makes it very easy for me to visualize. Also the artist I just finished reading about Christopher Bailey, the designer for Burberry, talks about how to "always be positive" and you will never fail.
