Slowed down on reading this book again because it seemed like the information coming from it was the same stuff but it was just getting dragged out. He is moving into his last two season in the MLB and continuely dominating doing so. Still love this book because its so focused on the game of baseball.

Just finished my book! took forever but was such a good story. Throughout all the craziness in his life he still became one the greatest hitters of all time in the MLB. Now I need new ideas for a new book...anyone got any good ones on sports???

Slowly trucking through this book reading in between some of my classes. He is officially in his last season and basically doing all of his farewell series' and goodbyes from fans around the country. Ted Williams has came through much adversity in his life to become one of the greatest hitters of all time if not the greatest. Can't wait to finish the book!

Ted Williams is officially on his last season in the MLB. After 19 years in the MLB Ted Williams was widely considered one of the best hitters of all time. He greatly deserved that title especially after putting up a lifetime batting average of .406 and hundreds of homeruns. Cant wait to finish.

Currently just picked up this book again which I loved and then kinda set down over break. Right now he has just gotten through his second or third season since the war. He is still dominating the league at batting. To me its crazy to see someone go to war then come back and without any practice is just as good and if not better then he was whenever he had left for the war.

Basically in the mid point in the book right now. Still is in the mid point of his career when he is coming out the air force and back into the MLB. Its crazy to see someone have such a good career before and after their time doing service. It is like he never even left.

After around his final game at Fenway in 1952 Ted Williams was called to service yet again. He hadn't flown a plane in around ten years but still took up the challenge for his country. After serving time he came back and was still as great as he once was. What is more American than that?

Right now Ted Williams is in his teens talking about he didnt really have parent figures in his life because both parents were never really home. So him and his brother had to keep each other in check inside and outside of school.

Still going slow but a great book to read. Nothing like reading about the life of one of the greatest hitters to ever play Americas national past time

So far it’s slowly talking about his child hood still. Need to read more because it is a slow moving biography of ted Williams life. But I will for sure keep on reading.
