You know, it's just not hooking me. Some of the stories are so out there, but honestly I feel like it isn't going anywhere and I'm more interested in how the person ended up growing up after all this childhood damage!

It takes a while to get there, in the book. The book mainly focuses on the childhood. There's not a lot of the transition to adulthood and how everyone in the family gets where they are in life. I read it for a class.
