I finished this book finally. Instead of a 'standard' Mark Roeder gay novel, this is an attempt to write a 'Lord of the rings' fantasy novel. It is an easy read and at times it's entertaining. However, do not think it matches Tolkien's quality. Maybe the best thing of the book: it finishes the Verona storyline of Mark (although you never now how storylines can be brought back in new books by Roeder).
