There’s a reason why I always wait to read the first book in a shadowhunter series and I just remembered why. I’m wishing myself a lot of good luck waiting not only for part two but also part three of this series. It’s going to be a long two years

Me at 11pm, reading a slightly horrifying chapter containing demons: I can’t sleep after this, what if there’s a demon in my room.

Also me at a little after 11pm, reading a chapter that confirms one of my theories but leads to so many questions and uncertainties: ok, good to go now.

What happened to 14 year old me who finished CoG in two nights because I wanted to see Jace and Clary ending up together? 😂
