This rape scene is still going on. I'm just about ready to just DNF the whole damned book rather than have to finish it.

I had high hopes for this one. But I haven't even made it through chapter one yet and I've already come across two pretty big no-nos for my reading enjoyment. A trigger warning that instructs the reader to see reviews for details and a fairly detailed rape scene that 100% wasn't necessary, as the reader had already been made to understand what had happened. The author didn't need to then GO BACK and rehash it.
