initial note - this book is so interesting! the more practical, analytical, and academic treatment of tarot is a divergence from a lot of other tarot books, and there's so much additional context and information provided here. really excited about this so far. (big asterisk for repeated usage of an ethnic slur historically affiliated with stereotypes of who read cards...)
