It's getting worse and worse and I am so scared, especially for my mother.
I know it's similar in many countries. So, God help us all 🙏 And meanwhile, let's stay home as much as possible.

Beverly Cindy Agreed. This is serious. Unfortunately some of the Gen Z see it as a challenge and they can beat the virus. If only were that easy. #StayTheF*ckHome #DontSpreadTheCoronaVirus

It's so sad, Beverly... When will they all realize that this is f*cking serious?! Hope it will be asap before more lives are lost...

I am watching videos of people everyday in my country. There is curfew order for people above the age of 65 but most of them still go out. The reportsman asks why they are out and they say because they are bored at home!!!!! The idiots!

This Corona virus has become the biggest IQ test for people all over the world!

It is serious and I hope that everything will be okay, but just a note as much as gen Z can annoy me they are not the only one doing wrong here, a lot of older people 60+ don't listen to instructions and were going to coffee shops until the other day when they closed them. They are very stubborn and not helping, at least in my country. So this is responsibility of ALL generations

That's what I am saying, Tina. Here in my country, we cannot make the old people stay at home, they are so stubborn - most of them seem to be incapable of understanding how serious it is!

Thank God my mum listens to all advice and stays home or I would go crazy.

Karla Prayers for the world! Stay safe and healthy everyone. #stayhome 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Tina Loves To Read I live in NC, USA and we are on a kindof lock down. We are only allow to leave the house to get food or things that you really need or if you have a medical job, in food services, or a trucker. Lucky, My husband is a trucker so he can still work. He delivers milk to stores so people can get milk. He had to get paperwork to keep working. I stay home because I have a kid with lung and heart issues. I hope everyone will listen and stay home, but I also hope everyone will be nice to other by supporting them (calling family, online, and any other way we can now).

message 14: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie It's a similarish scenario here in Sydney but I think they're being a bit too lax on the rules and apparently still letting cruise ships disembark without testing them on arrival 🤷🏼‍♀️ according to the news..
God willing your boy will stay healthy as with everyone else.

I am glad you are staying home now Amina. That idea of herd immunition sounded scary to me. I wish the best for you and your family&loved ones.

I do hope so Stephanie.

They say the virus cannot stand hot weather and thus it will slow down in summer but isn't it already hot in Australia? So, why are there cases in Australia if the virus cannot stand hot climates?

There is a lot of information all over the media and we sometimes cannot find what is right and what is wrong...

I am glad that your husband has a convenient job. My husband's company closed down for an indefinite time so he won't be getting any salary :( It will be a hard time for us in many ways. But staying alive and going through this with no loss in our family is a priority so we will pray for that. I wish the best for you and your family&loved ones, Tina.

Oh those cruise ships are a threat, unfortunately; they did the same irresponsible thing in our city Izmir here and the disease also came to that city from its port.

message 23: by Jen (new)

Jen God bless you all and I hope you all stay safe and healthy... please stay home and let us fight this virus. I am glad someone mentioned about them saying that when the hot weather comes the virus will go... but that makes no sense considering it’s in hot countries too?? I keep questioning that 🤷‍♀️ Anyway, I am from Prince George, BC, Canada and we are having to stay home but a lot of people aren’t listening.. the longer they take to listen; the longer we will be at home... why can’t people be smart. Take care all.❤️🥰🙏🏻

Oh Jen, the best is the middle-aged people like you, like me etc, we are more conscious as far as I see. The young and the old people are more difficult to obey the rules and accept the changes. I wonder when they will understand that this thing is serious...

I am sending prayers for the whole world. God save us all 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Michal Welp, our prime minister just closed Israel now. Just food and pharmacy. Nobody can go out, nobody is working and this disease going to cost a lot of broken hearts and a lot of bankruptcy for a lot of people.

Isolation is the best solution, Michal, don't be upset. Our country is doing it in a weird way. Only the people above the age of 65 has a curfew order but that cannot protect them. The people in the household who go out and come back will bring them the virus. Complete isolation is the best solution. I know the economic outcome will be devastating in full quarantine but it is the best precaution. My husband is on unpaid leave now and I know we will all struggle for a long while but the stricter the precautions the better the outcome.

God help us all...

message 27: by Katerina (new)

Katerina I’m in the UK, and same thing here with the partial lockdown. It’s really sad bc the ICU’s are full, and there comes a point where by not listening to advice, there will be too many terminally ill people at one time. Doctors and nurses are themselves becoming sick. Why? To treat someone like Sally who wanted to go to the park and meet her friends going against advice. Anyway, take care of yourself and your mum Dilek Xx

Oh Katerina, those people who are out in the parks and streets here say they are bored at home when an interviewer asks them!!!! I am so furious at their spoiled behavior. I know some people have to go out for work or urgent matters but the ones out there just for fun because they are bored have no real excuse. And also they are so reckless that they don't understand they will cause the death of so many people either directly or indirectly.

It's a situation that we used to watch in the films only but now we are going through it. I am glad England finally decided to lock down places. Bored or sad, whatever, we need to stay at home if we really don't have to go out. Our government is doing this curfew order for people above the age of 65 but I don't believe that it will fully protect them. The people in the same household who go out and come back will bring them the virus sooner or later. Complete isolation for a few weeks for everyone would be the best solution but the economic outcome will be devastating in full quarantine. Such a hard time for us all.

I wish the best for you and your family&loved ones, Katerina... God save us all.
