Restarting this bc it’s been so long since I picked it up and I don’t really remember much of what happened

I by no means expected to hate this book, but I’m enjoying it a lot more than I expected. There’s still more than half the book left to change my mind but I actually really enjoy Ishmael. He really amuses me. There are definitely times when his narration is just excessive (ex: a whole chapter on the color white) but so far I find him endearing.
