Thank you Victoria Helen Stone for bringing back our favorite sociopath, Jane F*cking Doe. Her snark and smarts are even more fascinating here in round two.

I'm nowhere near done, but I can already tell this is going to be my favorite book of 2020.

Walker Sounds like a good one.

donna backshall Walker wrote: "Sounds like a good one." Oh, it is! It's written more for a woman to appreciate, but Walker, I think you'd love the Jane Doe series. She's never worn rose-colored glasses, having survived a hard childhood which has darkened her view of the world, and she's kind of a feminist superhero in her own way. I'd love to hear your perspective, if you decide to peek into Jane Doe's world.

Walker Is this one that "needs"to be read after #1 to reap the full benefit of the character development, or does it work as a stand alone? The Killer Collective was one I enjoyed as a stand alone.

donna backshall It's not absolutely necessary, but I would strongly suggest it. Jane's character is so perfectly designed, you want to find out who she is and how she became this oh-so-likeable sociopathic wonder. All of that is laid out in the first book, which I think was originally written as a standalone novel. It was only after we all begged for more that Jane has been brought back, and made into a series.

The books are both available in Kindle Unlimited, so I wouldn't be surprised if you could get them in Prime as well. It's worth a look.

Walker I will put them on my to read list and will look for them. I read Winter's Mourn and really enjoyed it. The heroine survived an attack on her family when she was 13, and she had personal dragons to slay, so to speak.
