I’m putting this aside for now. It is taking me ages to get through it, and actually putting me off reading, which is not what I need right now. I will come back to it, but I’ve missed publication and have several other deadlines coming up. It’s not that it’s a bad book, but it is so dark, bleak and twisted that I need a different head space for it.

This is the longest book ever. 25% in and kindle says I still have 21 hours to go! Lucky we’re in lockdown as my review is due Thursday 🙀
It’s good but rather grim for these dark times...
