We’ve had quite a time together on this app - many ups and downs and clowning arounds, as they say. But at the end of the day, I always wanted us to be good friends, and I’m sad that we never got there. It may have been trepidation on my end because of how intimidated I was by your humor and... what’s the word... “spark.” And I’m sorry I’ve blown any chance of a solid friendship over this act of vicious emotional violence on my end.

This has been a real eye-opener for how I treat people, equal to how your filmmaker’s eye will open upon finishing this book

I’ll update you. What I can tell you is that the eye has been closed my entire life, and the book wasn’t lifting it but an inch. Which is exactly why I stopped reading!

Why didn’t you just say that to begin with, so much pain could’ve been avoided
