I’m finally getting out of my 8-months-long reading slump! This is an incredibly captivating book that reads like a modern page-turner but has the scope of a grandiose 19th century novel. I was surprised when I asked the bookshop assistant for “something resembling Anna Karenina” and I was given this 300-something pages long novel, but I know fully understand the recommendation.
