"Lady Marmalade's Special Place in Hell," by David Sklar -- a transgender woman gets sent to hell for just being herself and completely takes control of the situation. I liked it.

"Treasure and Maidens," by Sarah Rees Brennan -- I really enjoyed this unique twist on dragons!

"How to Dance While Drowning," by Shanna Germain -- loved it but dark and grim story about beautiful dancers and the exploitation of mermaids

"The Cloak of Isis," by Sunny Moraine -- I started out loving this story, but toward the en the fairy tale elements happened and it turned out just okay.

"Going Dark," by Lyn C.A. Gardner -- A tale of loneliness, love, and grief, not eerie and moving.

"A Bitter Taste," by Aliette de Bodard -- a compelling story of war and bloodshed and regret. Really well done.

"Keeping the World on Course," by Tanith Lee -- fantastic story, very much built on structure and the use of opposites, one of those great stories that's hard to describe without ruining it.

"Pride ," by Melissa Mead -- In an effort to live up to his mother's expectations, Kayin does everything in his power to become a Lioness. I have mixed feelings on this one.

"Kambal Kulam" by Paolo V Chikiamco -- Loved this story! As a kambal kulam, Erikson transforms himself into his clients to protect them from curses, but get more that he's bargained for when a woman hires him.

"The Daemons of Tairdean Town," by CS MacCath -- wonderful story about a scared woman who sings to plants and spreads freedom among a town.
