I’m conflicted when it comes to this book. They premise of the story is interesting—although not entirely unique to the genre. From the beginning the story grabs your attention, and manages to keep it.

However, many of the conflicts that Vickie encounters, are resolved rather quickly with little struggle. For now I’m going to take a break and possibly return to the book at a later time.
