The book has been a nice review of the basic functioning of the brain. It has also challenged some of the widespread myths about the brain, such as the thought that people are either "right-brained" or left-brained." It was interesting to learn that musicians typically process music in the left hemisphere, while nonmusicians process music more in the right hemisphere.
