"You did good today, mama," he tells me, softly running his fingers through my hair. "I'm proud of you." I freeze momentarily but Travis doesn't miss it. He tips my chin so my eyes meet his. He searches my face, finding my huge grin and watery eyes, he leans in to kiss me swiftly.
"No one has ever told me that. Thank you."
"Get used to it, baby," is his reply.

I was really into the characters and dialogue. I loved Travis. He is very sexy, protective, and a take-charge kind of guy. I thought it was really entertaining but at times it felt a tad rushed. I feel like it needed more time spent on the build up of their feelings and relationship. That aside, it's a decent read!
