Truly some of Byron's letters are laugh out loud funny. He should have written more prose as his raw sentiments and turns of phrase feel almost dangerously modern, while his poetry like Manfred and Darkness are wonderful Sturm und Drang at best but winded dreck at best left in the 18th century at worst. Wish this particular edition had all of Don Juan and perhaps more of his plays
