Maria > Status Update

I have been in the book community for a very long time maybe about 7-8 years, and it has gotten so massive. I’ve never thought that the book community would get this massive, and there’s a lot more competition nowadays. It kind of gets to a point where everybody’s fighting over books that they have read showing off books that they received from publishers and not about the true joys of being a book reviewer. It’s kind of dampen my mood about this whole community. The community is not what I signed up for, it was to create content to express myself even if no one sees it. For now on I’m going to just be me and review what I want to review. I don’t want to be pre-judged on what I should review and if I don’t have any books that are not released yet. That is not what I’m here for, I am here to express my opinion about certain novels and help people decide whether or not they want to read the novel. That is all I’m going to say about it and I’m going to try to cure myself towards more positive thinking, and maybe novels are not quite so much the ones that I’ve read in the past. I just want to be able to enjoy what I used to do, and that is having conversations with people about books when I couldn’t find anybody in real life to have conversations with. I love you guys a lot, i’ve been given so many wonderful opportunities by being on this platform. Thank you for reading this if you read this far.
