Back at it.

Alternating timelines or perspectives have been one of my favorite forms for a long time, but lately I just can’t get into them. This is a good book but I think it will be the last I read of its kind for awhile.

I’m going to make this comparison a lot while reading this but it has to be said — I bought this book because it sounded like something Fredrik Backman would write. I opened it and read the first chapter and it reminded of me of Backman’s writing, too. I couldn’t say no.
