You have no idea how happy I was this morning when I saw the e-mail from GR support saying they manage to un-merge the profiles. I was so happy!

Totally! I was panicking yesterday so bad. I sent like 5 messages to the support. And today, right after the midnight that Angel came through and separated those two accounts.
And it was such a relief this morning seeing I had everything back.

You have no idea. I'm here since 2012 and it would feel so wrong not having this account.
Yesterday, when I thought I lost my account I started copying my reviews. I managed to copy 165 of them. But I have over 700 reviews.
But I want to copy them anyway. Almost losing them made me realise that I have no back up of my work.

Glad everything went back to normal! 😊 I cannot imagine losing every reviews we made wiped out 😭

Yes, it was so terrifying and I was really thinking I lost all of my reviews and GR friends. Maybe because GR support would tell that there would be no way how to separate those two accounts or because they would take too long to reply and I would have to delete my account because my friend was already getting attacked because of some of my reviews. 😥 I was just broken.

But this makes me more grateful for my GR and having all of you. And totally terrifying to know how vulnerable my account is. I'm going to keep copying my reviews to my computer.

I'm so thrilled for you! I read the other comments on here and I totally agree. I only started reviewing last year but I've become a little paranoid since I read somewhere once that GR sometimes likes to randomly delete reviews again. Since then I started writing my reviews on my computer first so that they're all there when needed. (I also once accidentally hit the return button while writing my review and everything was gone and I was devasted. Mind you that was before GR started to save your review while writing ;))

Yeah, I lost several reviews before the auto-save because I would click post and there would be an error and everything would get lost. Which is super annoying. So, I started copying them before posting.
But now, I'm totally going to copy all of them to my computer. It's so easy to lose everything.
And yes, I had a review delete by GR years ago because it broke some rules. 🤷‍♀️

Tell me about it! I was just trying to help my friend to get access to her author profile and instead it merged with mine. 🤦‍♀️
It's so crazy that it's so easy to get an access to author profile here on GR.
ANd yes, I agree, such a crazy incident, I did not see this happening. 🤷‍♀️ I did not event think something like this could be possible.
And yes, the moment I saw the message saying that it was again separated, such a weight was lifted from my heart! I did not believe it would be possible.
