Well this author is pretentious as fuck.
Not sure I'll finish. I just want to learn about ponds, not be subjected to banal stream of conscious musings and 'aren't I clever' name dropping of poets, authors, and musicians.
Maybe it'll improve... taking any other books this author's done off my wishlist though.
