There was nothing to distract him from the soft rise and fall of her breath. The pulse that pounded subtly against his arm. Her warmth. Her scent. ... Good God. What was happening to him? He was falling apart.

The instalust is hella strong in this book. It's so strong that it's becoming more than a bit off-putting tbh.
