So far I think the nothingness is a metaphor for adulthood and the death of childhood imagination and innocence and whatever other attributes that generally die with age. Such a large contrast to the last book i read.. maybe we’re all just large children who just have to pay bills and conform to society when we still yearn to skip and jump and play and read..
