I read the first 2 books back in the early ‘90s on deployment & loved them. A friend loaned this to me. I will say it’s intimidating as hell with the thickness of the volume when holding & trying to read.

I read them all in the 90's too when they were all released as 200+ page individual novels. Robert Asprin also wrote a scifi series that's in a similar vein as the myth books, Phule's Company. It's really good too.
