okay... 4 different character perspectives with one jumping years at a time, while the others are taking it day by day is a bit confusing. I think character 1 has caught up with the other three now... finally!

An inconsistency: earlier in book the antabonist had parents and a Dr for a brother who got all the attention. Now he's an orphan at the age of 7 being discarded from foster home to foster home.
