Two initial notes:
1. The paperback cover art makes my graphic designer heart soar. It's gorgeous, simple, and mysterious. I love it!!
2. This has major dark academia vibes in the flashbacks and I am living for it!! I can not get enough of the campus novel/dark academia and while this isn't it entirely, I am thrilled that it does feature some.
