I'm a significant way through Redbreast. And it's.... ok. I hear from one of my best chums that the Harry Hole books are brilliant, and he is a brilliant character. But he warned me that this first book is a bumpier ride. It's a bit disjointed with the constant flashbacks to 1944. It breaks up the flow of the story. But I'm happy to persevere, although its always more satisfying when you can lose yourself in a novel.
