Third time reading so that I’m prepared for book 5.

I’m hoping that rereading a favorite will drag me out of this major reading slump

Is he intentionally mimicking concepts from The Wheel of Time? So far, it’s eerily similar in tone, writing style (duh, WoT 12-14), and world building mechanics. And having the EXACT same narrator duo as the hefty WoT series (read a little over a year ago) has me confusing plot lines.

So far, no braid tugging or page long descriptions of clothing though, so it’s definitely WoT 2.0
