Next in the book Alex got the Artimeans out to scavenge the broken ships along the shore. Sky ran out but stopped after seeing a rugged old man staring at her. She called out to Alex and Florence saying," We're not alone." Back at Quill Aaron goes and talks to General Blair who supposedly died in the war against Artime. Aaron needed troops to attack Artime but he needed to tear down the wall for them.

Simber was gone and they were drifting out randomly towards Artime. Then they got caught in a storm. The storm pulled them back to new land but they were spinning around the island too fast to stop. They had to jump off. Their ship crashed into the island and they were stranded there. Then they found their ship in two pieces in the rain. He tied a rope to connect them and used a transport spell to bring it to land.

In this book a pirate was interrogating Daxel. He drew a picture of Alex and the pirates were laughing because he was a kid. Alex was approaching a waterfall. They turned in a circle and were at the other side of the world. They tied themselves to the ship and nobody died but they were all injured. Sean was very hurt and needed to get home so Simber had to leave them to get sean home.
