I can't tell if how Janis is written is a little racist or not. Similarly, I can't tell if the plot with Esme's mom is a little ableist or not. All I know is Esme should have a crush on Cassandra, not Dion, with how often she talks about Cassandra being hot and having beautiful hair and being nervous around her etc. etc. Like okay just kiss then. Feels very dated to 2016 despite being a 2019 release.
