It is finally getting to the scary part. It is definitely a good read and thoroughly creepy, but it does take a bit to get there. More after I finish the book!

Some sloppy writing, but all in all, holding to its promise to be "extreme horror." It is kind of like reading the movie "Halloween" in that it has this larger than life (literally) serial killer monster character killing everything he runs into, and the cops trying unsuccessfully to catch him, and a handful of 20-something campers. How can you get any better than that?
