I almost gave up on this early in. Chopin was painting the picture of Edna’s dreary life and the stuffy creatures in it. But once she honed in on Edna’s thoughts it grabbed me. She captures the obsessive behaviors that can afflict a woman infatuated with someone who isn’t hers. I see her walking into the fire willingly. Looking forward to see how it ends.
