I started You Are Not Alone this afternoon, and I can already tell the main character, Shay, and I need to have a little powwow.
Why? Shay is weak. And awkward. Neurotic even. I am doing a lot of internal screaming, wanting her to wake the F up and stop being so very breakable. I'm hoping upon hope she does, so I can find something in her to relate to, because right now I just want to shake her.

There are a couple of characters in the book I am reading now, The Last Thing She Did that are about like that. A couple of them just need to go ahead and die. LOL
