I didn't finish this book for a few reasons. I read more than half, and the part I read didn't ring true. Were her husband's aggressive sexual advances, used as punishment against her, invented to sell the book? They added nothing to the story.

A member of my book club attended an interview with the author who said she makes up parts of her "fictional biographies" based on what she thinks could have happened.
