My reading brain is still distracted but these little stories are the perfect length. I read a few more:
Sum’bitch and the Arakadile is a sad tale of monsters and monstrous mothers.
Mnemonicide: A man purges the memories of his failures in the most terrifying and selfish way possible 😳.
I like the difference in tone. None of these feel repetitive which can sometimes be an issue in collections.

A good mix of mystical, supernatural weirdness here.

A Workaholic gets more than he ever bargained for when he stops to assist three young women hanging around the suicide bridge after dark. Mebbe he should’ve minded his own business 😳 This is an ominous little warning of a tale that could make a sweet Creepshow episode.

I continue to read at my snails pace but I’ve made it thru 2 stories. The first is a quiet creepfest which lulled me into thinking the next would be similar. Nope! It was creepy, evil and tragic. Great stuff so far!!
