Why have I not seen Pawpaws (with its "custard-like" ripe fruit like a mixture of "mango, pineapple, banana, avocado, peaches, pears") in local farmers' markets? I did not know it's a NC fruit tree. 2/3 of this book is devoted to trees, so it's not exactly what I was looking for.
