david Are you a vegan, G? I have been one for decades but I cheat with seafood once in a while.

I am not: I am anemic, so I eat plant-based with the occasional animal protein. I was raised by a vegetarian, and I was for a long time before the iron deficiency became a problem.

david I understand. I get about 5 mg of iron daily or thereabouts. For that reason, I have seafood once in a while. I eat a lot of dark green leafy stuff, G, and other vegetables and beans, which may help. Also, vit C everyday, I believe, helps the body absorb iron. I do telenutrition for all gr customers at $25/hour Hungarian.

I am very mindful of what I eat; I cook almost everything from scratch, bread included, I have spirulina every morning in my smoothie, and I have supplements that combine iron, vitamin C and b12, for maximum absorbency. It all definitely helped.

david Me also. I take supplements with oatmeal, steel cut, every morning. Inside of the oatmeal I have acai powder, inulin, maca, leek powder, goji, maqui, camu, mushroom comple, beet powder, etc. Just to name a few.

david Hmm...I am reading Jane Austen now and I am wondering how she would incorporate this dialogue.
