i feel like the first book lacked in character background and development (with the exception of esta and harte) so i’m being such a hypocrite... but there’s so many PoV’s now that the plot is moving a little slow.

also, i’ve just realised this is 700 pages... i’m trying to reach my goodreads goal this year ffs!
