The cover and added description made me think this was a fantasy style darke romance...maybe with sirens seeing as the cover has water and there was mention of drowning.
Where did it go wrong?
1. Women are property/slaves of men
2. Our female MC has interesting powers but no spine at all
3. So far there was a forced wedding and the groom thought taking his bride to make her watch him commig murder is normal
