Horse Players - past tense exists for a reason; also, just because a story takes place at a racetrack or is about people who bet on horses, it doesn't make it a "horse" story
Horse with Wings - not specific to this story, but the overall book could have benefited from footnotes: what is a "kitamba"? (a rug, as it turns out)

Mustard-Pot - not gonna lie, was way too distracted by the fact that one of the horse's names included the 'N' word to determine whether this was a good story
