I abandoned this book. It was too tedious to finish because the plot became predictable and the characters failed to grow or evolve. I finally realized I don’t have to finish books, there is no evil librarian waiting to catch me returning one I haven’t read to the end, they agree life’s too short and the number of great books too long.
