Yes it's an amazing book. Also I tell everybody about Howard's the silver voices. This what I do these days. If you like this one then you will love the silver voices.

by the way, I have this uncanny feeling that I'd read "Least Light, Most Night" somewhere before. Do you know if Howard's work has ever been anthologized?
Oh yes he contributed stories in all the collections of the usual small publishers. This story first appeared in the Aickman's heir collection, I think. Howard is a fantastic writer.
