Strangulation? Keeping her sequestered in an apartment? Using fear to control? Intimidation? Dubious consent? Make no mistake; if this was under “normal” relationship circumstances, it would be classified as an abusive relationship. I’m not convinced Jasinda Wilder is aware of this.

Reading this for a second time and realizing just how problematic it is. Caleb essentially routinely rapes “X.” He’s also homophobic. I thought I liked Jonathan but he’s a big fat misogynist. Calling the girls he has sex w “sluts in slutty dresses.” Yet he gets the name “playboy.” From X! The fact that she is complacent in this is the most infuriating.
