The story has started off by introducing the main character Penelope.
She just moved into town and on her first day of school she embarrassed herself by tripping and falling but when she fall and started to grab all her things a boy came to help her pick the books up. Penelope pushed him for some reason and ran off.
She has not apologized.

I think that Penelope wont apologize because she can never talk to the boy.
